Have Burn On Ankle. Prescribed Antibiotics. Using Silverex. Fluid Oozing Out Of The Wound. Suggestions
Hi, I have a bun on my ankle till upper part of my feet and it measures about 5 to 6 inchesh.the burn has occued due to hot milk which fell nin my foot..My doctor has prescribed some antibiotics and has told me to waash the wound with mild soapy water....dry it and use silverex....i am following the procedure...But after few minutes of applying silverex i am seeing some fluid is coming out from the wound and its very cool.am i properly applying silverex.????Please laet me know.
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic It seems like a normal response. Once silverex touches your skin it liquifies a little due to your body temperature. Scald wound is a wet wound and little bit of serous discharge will come from wound as well. Continue the course of antibiotics and keep the scald area clean and dry. If redness is spreading around associated with pus discharge go back to the doctor. Hope this helped Take care
