Have Burning Red Tongue. What This Could Be?
I have burning red tongue. I have had it for over 2 1/2 yrs. Also the inside of my bottom lip is all red. I asked my doctor and he didn t have any ideas as to what this could be. My dentist gave me some Hulden s Brew , a medicine which numbs it temporarily. It is painful. Any suggestions?

Thanks for using health care magic. I read your query and I believe this is inflamation of the oral cavity (mucositis). I will suggest you to take multiviamins and steroid mouth paint with topical analgesics. it should heal in sometime.
