Dear mam, The symptoms that you are complaining about refer to post viral arthritis. Usually after a viral fever there is an autoimmune reaction in the body which gives rise to certain particles in the body which can destroy the normal joint linings thus giving rise to pain. Although analgesics will help but the main stay of treatment remains steroids. I suggest you get your ESR, CRP tested to help in diagnosis and meet a general physician who will help you in starting steroids. Hope this has helped you.
