Hello!
Thank you for the query.
I assume that all possible tests were done to find the reason of your
constipation. In case of something was missed, some possible reason of constipation: chronic bowels infection, hypothyroid, medicines (Ca-blockers, antidepressants), inflammatory bowels diseases. Just hoping that stool culture tests and thyroid tests were done as well.
If so, IBS seems to be your diagnose. There are several medicines which can be helpful for you. First of all you should try Rifaximine treatment (should be prescribed by your doctor). This very special antibiotic helps with bad bacteria in the intestines.
Second thing is
probiotic. You should also try
Mebeverine, Metoclopramidum. Both this medicines help with bowels movement. Next thing you should try is increased physical activity or even abdominal
massage (both can stimulate bowels to work).
If stress takes control over you, what can have very negative impact and lead to constipation as well, maybe you should visit
psychiatrist and ask about some medicines which can help in that matter.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
