I'm having problems with bowel movements. I have this almost constant urge to go to the bathroom. So much so that I can hardly leave my house. I've had many test done, but all have returned neg. I have no pain. I'm 66yr old male with diabetes, heart issues, gout, high bp and other med problems. I'm sorry I'm so slow. Have you any ideas on what I can do?

Hello,
Thank you for the query.
I would like to inform you that the symptoms you have mentioned are usually due to irritable bowel syndrome and even tests could not find this but only eliminating the common diseases will give the result of this. You may heard about the word FODMAP which is very helpful in people like you and I would also like to advice you to take psychotherapy which will help you in keeping your bowel movements in control. You may consult your doctor once as some of the drugs used for the diseases you are having will also cause these problems. Hope this is helpful. Thank you.
