Have Diarrhea. On Similac. Will The Infant Be Okay?

Hello Doctor, My child is 14 1/2 months old. Is it normal for him to pass stools 4 times in a day. It is almost standard for him to pass his stool early morning when he wakes up and after 1 1/2 hours post his meal. He is on similac 3 and takes a wide variety of foods like khichdi, chappati, theplas (little spicy indian paratha), vegetable purrie (bottle gourd, beetroot, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, sweet potato etc)., nestle ceralac-wheat and dates, fruits like apples, pears, bananas, orange juice, pears and other wide variety of soft fruits.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Relax,there is nothing to worry,
It is very good that you are giving a balanced diet to your child.
I suggest you to give curd, buttermilk as it contains natural probiotic.
You can also give lactobaccilus sachet fot 2 to 3 days.
Decrease quantity of fruit juices and milk.

Wishing your baby good health.
God bless.
