Have Dizziness Every Morning. Taking Chiropractic. Taken Off All BP Medicine Except Aspirin. Suggest?

Hi , I wake up dizzy every morning, and stay dizzy till approx 11 am sometimes till1 or 2 pm. Have been seeing a Chiropractor for 1 month to no advantage. Previosly seen 10 doctors with no answers. was on BP meds, taken off all med except asperin 100. Was getting strange side effects from all BP meds and thought that was the problem ,but once I stopped Irealised the dizzynss was separate from the BP med side effects. This has been going on for 1 to 3 years constantly . My BP fluctuates between 148/86 BUT GENERALLY 130/76

Hello dear,

First of all do not stop your medications without consulting your Physician.
The fluctuation in the BP can be one of the reasons for the symptoms as mentioned in your post.

Other causes can be:
1. Any pathology in the Vestibular apparatus in the inner ear, which maintains posture & balance.
2. Any fluctuation in the blood sugar levels.
3. Inadequate hydration status & electrolyte balance of the body.
4. Deficiencies of certain nutrients like Iron, Vitamin B 12, Folic acid, etc. which helps in blood formation & nerve conduction.
5. Hormonal & metabolic causes.
6. Stress, inadequate sleep, etc.

So, kindly consult your Physician and discuss regarding this.
Investigations like complete blood count, estimation of blood sugar levels, CT scan of brain will be helpful to rule out any pathological cause for the symptoms.

And it is also needed that you take certain precautions regarding your diet & lifestyle, such as:
1. Take soft, plain, non-spicy foods
2. Drink lots of water to maintain adequate hydration
3. Avoid fast food.
4. Avoid smoking & alcohol.
5. Keep away stress..think positive.
6. Exercise regularly & practice meditation.

Wishing you a Good Health.
Thanks & take care.
