Have Dry Cough, Pain In Head Along With Chronic Headaches. No Medication Till Now. What To Do?

Hi, I have what i think is tonsilitis (i used to get it a lot and i think this is what i have now). its been 9 days. i also have a dry non productive cough. every time i am coughing now i am getting severe pain in my head (as if my brain is being crushed) and also pain down my right arm. i am a 28 year old female. apart from chronic headaches, i am healthy

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
You would need an ENT examination to rule out tonsillitis.
In addition, the pain down your right arm could be due to a pinched nerve in the neck region.
You may take medications such as pregabalin for relief of pain, till you see a doctor.
