Have Fever, Sick To Stomach, Low Temperature, Early Periods, Spotting. Should I Be Concerned?
Hi I'm 26 , period is roughly 28-32 days long. Normally pretty heavy and cramps bad for the first two days then tapers off. Period is usually 5 days with some lasting 6. This time I'm 8 days early had period type cramps and Brown spotting. Now Brown has turned pink but still just enough to change color of toilet paper. Very confused! Had a low grade fever today 99.2and felt sick to my stomach. My temperature is normally low on a regular basis. I feel like period should be here full blown why am I only spotting or if this is my period why is it so early ?SShould I be concerned? Thank you
Hello and welcome to HCM, Variation in duration and timing of menstrual cycles is seen in healthy menstruating females. Factors affecting menstrual cycle are hemoglobin levels, stress, hormonal levels, etc. Observe your menstrual cycles for some more months. If the periods are irregularly irregular, you need to consult a gynecologist. If the periods are regularly irregularly, then there is nothing to worry. Clinical examination, investigations - hormonal status, endometrial biopsy may be required to know the cause of irregularly irregular cycles.
