Have Flashes Of Lightning Streaks Of White, Yellow And Orange. Taking Topirmate. Severe Pain In Eye. Concerned?
I have flashes of lightning streaks of white and yellow, and sometimes oranges(auras) that go from one eye to the other eye. Also sometimes when I close my eyes at night instead of seeing yellow like every one else I see a light blue colour--sometimes with flashes of orange, yellow, and white streaks of lightning .Other times it is a purple haze colour. Other times my right eye feels like someone has driven a nail into it. Topiramate has really helped me get rid of most of these symptoms. Only the severe pain in the right eye appears whenever a major thunder and lightning storm occurs.

Hello, The symptoms you have mentioned in the history like flashes of lightning streaks indicate prodromal symptoms of Migraine. Usually eye pain is a part of Migraine attack, Since you are on treatment with the drugs for Migraine, no need to worry. But if the symptoms wont come down or increase in severity, do consult your physician for other alternative drugs. Thank you
