Have Had Bladder Uterus Spasms, Cramps, Bleeding While Urinating, History Of Utis. Had Unprotected Sex. Infection?
i am 19 years of age, i have had random bladder-uterus spasms that feel like cramps and a little blood when i urinate, yet no pain. i am sexually active and i had unprotected sex a little over a week ago. he used the pull out method and i stopped taking the birth control pills 6 months ago. i have a history of utis, but i am not experiencing pain. Is this an infection or does this mean I could be pregnant. I am scheduled to have my period in 2 weeks.
hi there, your description is more in favour of a urinary tract infection rather than pregnancy that cannot be ruled out positivley without other tests. Now you will need to get a urine routine and culture exam done to confirm infection and need treatment for the same.Pulling out is not a very safe method of contraception and using a comdome is more advisable if you are not on the pill. If you have delayed periods then you could do a urine pregnancy test but till then it would be better to get investigated for UTI and take treatment accordingly. You may take plenty of fluids and can use an antispasmodic to get symptomatic relief from the cramp and spasm.Take care.
