i am 30 yrs old male.. having hairfall and excessive dandruff.. though i have family history of hair fall but my hair are vanishing as male baldness pattern. doc had advised phytoral 200 mg for 15 days.. mx 5 lotion and protar k shampoo.. do they have any serious side effects?
I can understand your concern for hair loss and dandruff. Hair fall can be due to any long term illness or any emotional or stressful event and due to nutritional deficiency or hormonal influence.
I can make out that you are male and after stress and nutritional dysfunction it is quite common to get hair fall because of change of nutritional and hormonal status.
If I were your dermatologist then would have prescribed you tablet containing Acetylcysteine, Calcium Pantothenate, Selenium, Zinc, Biotin, Copper as active ingredients. You can take these vitamins in the form of biotin, calicium pantothenate and other vitamin B complexes.
You have been provided with good medicine and there is no side effect of the same so you can use these. It is the proper and regular washing with a gentle shampoo which is more important.
Take care.
