Have Hbsag Reactive, Hbsag Non Reactive, Pcr Qualitative. Will Immunity System Reduce It?Medicine?
Hello All, I have Hbs Ag Reactive, Hbe Ag Non Reactive, PCR Qualitative No DNA found, Is there any treatment or advice for me to control it. I consult a doctor and he said there is no medicine for a carrier patient . Eat well, Play out door games, only your immunity system can make it go. Is there any latest medicine get ride of it? Regards,
Hi. I can understand your worry. Your doctor is right in informing you that you are a carrier. Less than 5% carriers will progress to any liver problem. So it would be unnecessary treating the rest who would never have any problem. You can keep a watch on your liver function tests once in 6 months and if they become abnormal, only then you need to visit a hepatologist for treatment if required. Otherwise relax and don't worry much. Avoid alcohol. Only see to it that all your family members are vaccinated for Hepatitis B. Hope this would help you. Good bye.
