Hi,
In the current scenario, you should consult a specialist for a proper evaluation, get the serum beta-hCG titres estimated along with a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the situation. Visualization of a viable gestation sac implies a threatened pregnancy and appropriate care is needed with absolute bed rest and hormone supplements if necessary. Absence of a sac means an abortion and pregnancy test can remain positive for a week or two even after an abortion or delivery as the hormone levels take some time to decline. Hope this helps.
