hi. i am a male of age 49years.i am suffering from high cholestrol levels with TGs reaching upto 600mg sometimes and serum cholestrol going upto 400 mg.please recommend me a balanced diet to improve my condition. I am also a regular alcohol consumer, consuming 100 ml of whiskey everyday . rite now i am also suffering from neumonitius, a kind of breathing condition. please recommend me a cure.
Hi, Welcome to HCM, After going through your history you have severe Dyslipidemia which could be resistant. You should stop alcohol as it causes liver dysfunction. Your dyslipidemia could be familial or genetic but you need to take care of diet taking fats not more than 30% calories of total calories and saturated fats should be Avoid fried food, butter, animal fats and take fresh fruits and green vegetables. You should visit Physician or good hospital to examine and give treatment if necessary hospitalization may be required. You may need Statins and fenofibrate combination therapy along with diet and periodic check up of Lipid profile.
