Have Higher Blood Sugar And Fluctuation In INR. Can This Be The Side Effects Of The Medicine That Was Prescribed?
Hello, I am wondering where I can read about the medications I take. I am trying to look for the side effects of several different drugs. I have this feeling that one may be causing higher blood sugar & another (or combination of) causing my INR to fluctuate from one week @3.6 to 2wks later, down to 1.7. Better yet, why was I in range (2.5-3.0) for 5-6wks & without appearing to be doing anything different, it goes up to 4.2. There were some new meds prescribed. I'm just wondering where I can research this into detail.
You didnt mention what mediactions are you taking and what for. There are many medicines which can cause blood sugar and INR abnormalities. INR ones are especailly worrying because it can cause serious complications. YOu need to stop medicines when you notice such side effects and ask your GP about similar drugs.
Wish you good health and recovery.
