Have Intestinal Bleeding. Got Done With Urinalysis And Stool Analysis Exam. What Does The Result Say?
Hi i have an intestinal bleeding for the past 4 days now and had my urinalysis and strool analysis yesterday. The result of my urinalysis all else were normal except the amorphous u/p- many, epithelial- many and for the stool analysis: color: reddish Consistency : soft Wbc/hpf: 1-2 Rbc/hpf: 50 Remarks no ova or parasite seen. What does my urinalysis mean and stool analysis? Thank you
Hello
Your urine report is normal while your stool report suggests fresh blood in your stool.
Fresh blood in stool indicates bleeding from lower gastrointestinal tract.
The causes could be hemorrhoids, anal fissure, colitis, ploys, colon cancer etc.
Bleeding from upper areas of gastrointestinal tract makes the color of stool dark.
Consult a gastroenterologist and get the proper investigations done to make the diagnosis and treatment.
Thanks
