Have Itchiness In Throat And Tongue. Took Budicort And Asthelin. Suggest

My son , 7 yrs of age complaining of itchiness over post region of tongue and throat. his post tongue presents some red coloured follicle like tongue papilla have enlarged. He take budicort(100) and asthelin(100) inhellar2 puff bd mainly during season change.21 days back due to otitis media effusion his ENTdoct gave amoxicillin and anti-histaminic,and after fully cured,2 days back he took SEPTILIN TAB twice daily . FROM HIMALAYA HARBAL HEALTHCARE as given by ENT doct. Please give advice.

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
Red,enlarged tongue papillae are associated with aphthous ulcers .
IN your child's case,the ulcerous lesion is due to the allergic or asthmatic reactions or medicines administered for the same purpose.
Maintain oral hygiene.
Clean your tongue using tongue scrapers.
Vitamin becosules,c,iron and folic acid tablets has to be administered.
Rinse mouth after every meals.
In severe cases,steroid has to be administered after consulting with your dentist.
