Have Itching On Bikini Area, Bumps On Groin Area, Bleeding, Puss, Painful. Right Medication?
I started itching my bikini area about a week ago because I shave. Over the weekend i got two little bumps on my groin area. Its normal for me to itch and get little bumps a couple days after shaving. Anyway, the two bumps started looking like zits. One of them went away but the other one got infected or something. It started bleeding and pusing. Its so painful especially when I move or pull my underwear away from it. It even stained my underwear with blood. I dont know what it is. Im getting worried. I think it might be a pimple becuz I also broke out with a large zit on my face. Please help!!!!!
Hi, You seem to have developed lesion of folliculitis.
This is essentially an infection of the base of hair follicle.
You should clean the affected area with an antiseptic solution twice a day . Use a topical antibiotic cream over the lesion. You can go addition take some pain killers to reduce the associated pain and swelling.
Do not apply any other creams or oils over the lesion.
Hope it helps.
