Hello,

Thanks for posting,

You are presenting with chronic pruritus which could be as a result of one of a vast number of diseases and given the fact that you did not precise the exact loci of the chronic itchiness. The cause could be dermatological or due to an underlying diseases condition.
We have:
- Autoimmune eg. Dermatitis herpetiformis, Dermatomyositis, Pemphigoid, Sjögren's syndrome etc
- Genetic eg. Sjögren-Larsson syndrome etc
- Infections and infestations: eg. Arthropod reactions, dermatophytosism, Folliculitis, Impetigo and other bacterial infections, Insect bites, Pediculosis, Scabies, Viral etc
- inflammatory: eczema, contact dermatitis, "invisible dermatosis", psoriasis, urticaria etc
- Neoplastic: eg. cutaneous lymphoma, leukemia
- pregnancy if you are a female and pregnant.
- psychogenic itching
After listing all of the above causes, you can now understand now to actually treat the itching the cause has to first of all be identified and treated accordingly.
Antihistamines may generally help but that will be just temporary if the cause has not been treated.
A visit to a dermatologist will be a plus.

Hope this helps

hello,
welcome to healthcaremagic
from the description of the symptoms you have written, you are suffering from a fungal infection.
in order for you to remove the problem you need to find out what is the cause of the problem
there are various things to consider
- hygiene of the body
- proper usage of the medication
- weather
- type of soap used for having a bath if those that dry your skin then it can result in itchiness.
- food allergy
-drug allergy
would suggest you see a dermatologist for further review and follow up
