Have Itchy White Pus Filled Bumps On Legs, Ankles And Thighs. Cause? Cure?

I have itchy white pus filled bumps on legs ankles and thighs. At first I thought chiggers being that I live in tn. I've had chigger bites all my life and I don't think these are chiggers. I know it ain't mosquitos. They only really itch at night and it's an intense itch. I know it's a bug bite I just need to know what bug could cause such bumps.
