Hi... Thanks for the query.. Keratoconus is a progressive steepening of the cornea. C3R is done to prevent further steepening of the cornea and to stabilize the keratoconus. C3R will not improve the quality of vision a little and tolerance to CL.. One needs to wear glasses or CL after the surgery.. If the condition stabilizes, one can go for ICL to avoid wearing glasses.. There are various treatment options in laser also depending on the corneal thickness.. You can consult your treating doctor and discuss in detail about the outcome and feasible treatment modalities further...
