Have Larger Red Bumps On The Back Side Of Tongue, Swollen, Sore. What Could Be Wrong?
I have larger red bumps on the back side of my tongue. On the very side and my tounge is swollen and sore. I have a caker sore on the left side of my mouth and larger red bumps on the back side of my tounge. My tounge is sore and feels swollen. What is wrong with me? I'm really worried I also have small bumps on the back of my throat.
Hello, You can have ENT consultation as seeing red bumps is actually normal but just to rule out that there is no disease. there are many taste buds over the tongue which seems to be red bumps. If you feel sore then you must get teeth examined for caries and maintain proper oral hygiene by doing gargles daily. You must also take care that you do not have acidity or heart burn ie reflux disease for that take--- Antacid tablet Syp. antacid gel 2 tsf two times a day half an hour before meals multivitamin twice daily Keep head end of bed elevated. Avoid alcohol, Smoking Do brisk walking daily Go for walk after dinner Avoid spicy food Avoid late night coffee follow up after 7 days.
