Have Late Period, Breastfeeding. Brown Spotting, Cervix Moved Up, Become Soft. What Is It?
hi im a breastfeeding mother of my 8 month old son my periods since he was 4 months old have been irregular but never past 5 days late. im now 15 days late and had brown spotting like old blood some days here and there and very light not enough to fill a panty lineer for about 6 days now my cervix has also moved up and has become soft. what could it be?
During lactation some amount of hormonal imbalance will be there and that can lead to menstrual irregularity. If you had unprotected intercourse there is possibility of pregnancy also. If that possibility is not there, then the spotting could be due to hormonal possibly. Usually minimal spotting will subside soon with out the need of medication. If the spotting continues once consult gynecologist and get evaluated. For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429 Take care.
