Have Low Blood Pressure, Dizziness, Diarrhea. Taken Ubiquinol. Due To Medicine?
I WAS WATCHING DR OZ LAST WEEK AND THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT UBIQUINOL 100 MG. I PURCHASED THIS AT A HEATH FOOD STORE STARTED TAKENING THIS IN EVENING WITH A MEAL AS INSTRUCTIONS. I AM ON MEDICATIONS...METOPROLOE, CRESTOR, LISINOPRIL, GEMFIBROZIL & ASPIRIN (OVER 7 YEARS AGO HAD A STINT PLACED). JUST TODAY I HAVE BEEN HAVING LOW BLOOD PRESSURE READING 95/56 WITH PULSE AT 79, DIZZINESS AND 1 TIME WITH DIARRHEA. I WAS WONDERING THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT HAS CHANGED WITH ME IS THE UBIQUINOL. I HAVE BEEN ON IT FOR 3 DAYS MY QUESTION IS DO YOU THINK THIS IS WHAT IS CAUSING ME TO HAVE THESE SYMTOMS. THANKS MS. CARDWELL
It is possible that the ubiquinol would contribute to the reduction in blood pressure. Some persons have reported significant decreases with blood pressure with this product. The blood pressure response varies from person to person and is also dependent on the dose of medication used.
You may want to consult your doctor who can recheck your BP readings. IF they are persistently reduced then he or see may consider altering your antihypertensive medication .
I hope this helps
