General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
hi, Thanks for using HCM.
He needs emergency treatment. Good that you have already on the way to hospital. Sudden loss of motor function in limb suggests problem in nervous system or electrolyte abnormality. Electrolyte abnormalities are treatable. on correction complete power of muscles returns to normal. As he also has history of progression of symptoms to upper limb. There are possibilities of thrombosis any blood vessels in brain. Take him to neurology dept, He may need to be observed in a intensive care unit.
Hope this helps you.
