Have Numbness, Tingling, Pain In Arms, Unable To Turn Head. History Of Cuff Injury. Any Suggestions?

Good afternoon, I have been trying to wait out some symptoms in my left arm and hands which includes, numbness, tingling and sharp pains at times. \unable to fully turn my head to the left most of the time. we are just over 3 wks now waiting for it to stop, thinking maybe I just slept wrong and maybe pinched a nerve in my shoulder/ at times resembling rotator cuff pain. \i know this because I have had to have cortisone in my rgt shoulder for cuff injury from volleyball. Also my left ankle/foot lower calf left side has started with pitting edema over the last 5 days. Right foot as well but not as bad as the left.
I am a nurse which is why I am feeling stupid about starting to think it may be something worse.(Heart attack warning) but how long can those symptoms last before it the real thing.?
Guess that is why not only being a nurse but female we tend to wait anything out that happens to us.
Any suggestions? Besides the obvious. .

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, your symptoms along with numbness suggests more of a cervical pain. Take a x ray of cervical spine, use some heat therapy along with muscle relaxant first and after a week or so go for neck strengthening exercises. If problem persists you can also opt for physical modalities like TENS and short wave. Thank you.
