Have Pain IBS Pain. Have IBS, Chronic Constipation. Had C Section And Hysterectomy. What To Do?
I am a 37yr old female with IBS & chronic constipation. I have also had 3 C-sections & a partial hysterectomy with multiple adhesions that cause pain. The past couple of weeks I've been experiencing more of my "normal" IBS pain & reflux, I even took Dulcolax attempting to improve it. Along with this I've developed severe stabbing pain on my left side near my hip bone? This is a new pain that I have been able to function through but is becoming difficult to ignore & has always been hard to go to sleep with. I am unsure if it is just a decline in my IBS or something else that I should worry about?
I understand your condition. I am concerned that your IBS is exacerbating and you are having worsening of symptoms despite treatment. IBS has been associated with stress levels and I wonder if a visit with a psychiatrist would help with this situation. Pain and reflux are associated with stress levels as well and I think your appointment should be scheduled for the same reason. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
