Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

It appears as though you could be suffering from a urinary tract infection (UTI). This is a simple infection, but its presence will have to be confirmed with the help of laboratory analysis of your urine.

For your reference I shall list a few of the symptoms of a UTI:
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)

Please note that not all symptoms need to be present in one individual. I request you to first consume plenty of water, visit your doctor at the earliest, and also refrain from sexual contact with your boyfriend till you are diagnosed and your treatment has been completed.

If the urine reports no abnormality, a screening for all sexually transmitted infections will be necessary.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
