Have Pain In Heart Area. Pain Increases While Breathing. Diagnosed As Growing Pains. Solution?
My heart feels weird pains every now and again. Well i believe its my heart, general area if not. When i breathe in the pain increases. Its not tremendous pain but noticeable as if someone was squeezing my heart. I m only 19. I ve had this for a good 8 years now, doctors said its just growing pains a few years back but i doubt it, just freaks me out! Thanks!
It sounds like simple chest wall muscle pain..
Growing pains is a colloquial term, not a medical entity......
It is advisable to have it investigated.
A thorough history and physical examination is the first step -
EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise EKG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
