Have Pain On Inner Thigh When Climbing Stairs. What Does It Indicate?
I am a 58 year old female in good health. For months, I have had severe pain when climbing our stairs at home or at work at the top of my right inner thigh. I have to place weight on the handrail to climb the stairs. It also hurts when I get out of a car. Any thoughts as to why? I am not overweight and am on no medications at all.

Have Pain On Inner Thigh When Climbing Stairs. What Does It Indicate?
Hello, I have studied your case. According to your symptoms and findings there is osteoarthritis of your knee. You can start cartilage protecting medication like chondritin sulphate, that you need to take for couple of months. If required MRI knee can be done . Physiotherapy like ultrasound and tens will help, along with knee exercises. Hope this answers your query.
