Have Painful Lump Inside Nose, Hard. Side Effect Of Tonsil Problems?
I have a lump that started to grow about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Its starting to become painful & the lump has now spread inside of my nose. I'm about 99% sure its not a pimple. It's hard & the bump inside my nose is hard as well. It started very small and is now growing larger. It starts small than enlarges during the day. It sometimes gets red where its a tad bit noticeable. I've never had one of these before. I don't know if this could be a side effect to my tonsil problems i have (having surgery for my tonsils & nose) What do I do? Should I be worried, should I go see a doctor?
Seeking the opinion of a doctor will help since your symptoms seem to suggest a soft tissue bacterial infection.Since infections in the mask area can be dangerous, prompt therapy with antibiotics especially for staph should be started at the earliest. It should be continued till such time that the infection is completely eradicated, this may at times take upto 3 weeks.
