Have Poking Needles Pain In The Chest

hello, I am a 23 year old female. 5'3 weight 125. Today i felt poking needles in my chest as i was sitting in a chair. The deeper i breathe the more it poked. It lasted for about 2 minutes and went away. I actually have these random poking pains from time to time, but not this long. Should I be worried?

Hello
Thanks for your query.
You are obese. Therefore there is chance of gastro-esophageal reflux disease and ischemic heart disease more commonly than the general population. So you please go for an ECG evaluation to exclude underlying heart diseases the possibility of those though rare in your age group. You also should have pantoprazole tablet 40 mg twice daily before food for at least 1 month or so along with dietary restriction like avoidance of fat containing food, fast food and spicy food, daily water intake 3-4 litre per day and regular exercise. Try to loose weight. This is the main intervention which you require the most. I think you will be benefited by this. Don't be worried so much.
Thank you.
