Have Problem With Jaw. Can Sleeping And Chewing In Same Side Been A Cause For This?
Hello there...I'm 19 years old. It's pretty clear that left side jaw of my face is ahead than the other side. And i look annoying every time my friends took a photo of me because of my face structure is not the same. I usually sleep with my right side and i had a tooth ache and as a result i used to chew only with my left side for a year. Do all these affected my face structure? I have photos taken in my childhood and i was fine, my face structure was right but now it's not. Is there a way of fixing it ? basically what should i do?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The sleeping on the side cannot cause a change ion the size of the jaw. Regular chewing from only one side of the jaw can cause a mild muscle hypertrophy and cause these symptoms. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
