Have Problems With Urination, Burning Sensation. Have Cysts Evident In Ultrasound, Urine Analysis. On Ciprofloxacin. Treatment?
sir,i am having problems with urination. i am suffering from symptoms like frequency and urgency but i dont have burning sensation. i have cystitis as it is evident from ultrasound report and urine analysis.
following the problem i went to the doctor and he prescribed ciprofloxacin(cipval),cranberry extract and citralka syrup but nothing helped with my symptoms.i am very tensed and i dont know want to do
plz suggest me something.i am helpless

Frequency ,
urgency ,
burning sensation,
all these symptoms are due to urinary tract infection ( as you mentioned in the query that you are having cystitis i.e.bladder infection.
As ciprofloxacin is not effective , so think about other option.
Get in ultrasound of whole urinary system ( kidney, ureter, urinary bladder , urethra) as all these symptoms may be due to stone or calculus in this system , anywhere.then consult another urologist ans get his opinion.
2nd reason as you stated may be infection ( U T I ) can be confirmed by urine culture and sensitivity test for treatment and causative agents.
Urologist consultation will help.
cranberry juice and citralaka only dilutes urine and causes diuresis.

Hi,
As you are having cystitis confirmed with ultra sound and urine report,continue with antibiotic full course.
If there is no improvement then go for urine culture and sensitivity test.
This will give precise information regarding causative bacteria and antibiotic working against it.
After report go for long specific antibiotic medicine course.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
