Have Purple Bubble On Top Of Butt Crack. Pilonidal Cyst?
My daughter just notice a purple - like cyst or bubble on the top of the right side of her 5 month old daughter's butt crack. ther size is about the size of a quarter and it is about 2 cm tall. Should she be concerned? She and her husband did not notice anything Saturday.

Yes, it is better to send her at the pediatrician to get proper diagnosis and treatment, especially if the baby is crying and have fever.
The pediatrician would evaluate by physical examination and by further tests if it is a pilonidal cyst or other health problem.
