Have Purple Swollen Lump At Top Of Butt Crack, Difficult To Walk. What Cold It Be?
hello, i have a slightly purple swollen lump at the top of my butt crack that makes it difficult to walk, sit, bend,stand and, lay down. (pain is minimized when laying on my stomach) i am 22 years old about 175lbs, around 5'10 and have not experienced it this bad in the past. i have been looking online and i do not see any "little holes" as described with having a fistula. I am really hoping that is is not a pilonidal Cyst which i have read about people experiencing for years requiring multiple surgeries. What could this be and what options do i have in resolving this issue? Also read about a procedure called kshar sutra but it appears to only appears to be available in india, is this true?

You might have developed furuncles.
These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
