Have Red Bumps On Waistline. Hurts When Touched. White Discharge On Popping. Treatment?
I have red bumps on my waistline sometimes they don't bother me but then sometimes they get big and more red and hurt when touched or when my belt rubs against them I've had them for about two years now they leave deep scars and always puff back up. Sometimes I try to pop them and a little bit of white stuff comes out but they just won't go away I went to a derm a couple times and he didn't say much about them or didn't tell me what they are I'm just wondering if you can give me some advice to get rid of them I've had them long enough they really make me depressed thank you
You seem to have recurrent folliculitis or boils on your waist line. This may occur due to continuous occlusion and friction which facilitate the growth of bacteria and hence boils occur. You may do as follows: -put slightly loose fitting garments. -apply a moisturiser after bath. -take a course of oral antibiotics by prescription from a dermatologist.Apply a topical antibiotic cream over red infected lesions twice a day. -don't pop the lesion as it leads to scarring.
Hope this helps you. All the best
