Have Seborrhea Dermatitis Outbreak Around Eyebrows. Prescribed Epiduo Andtazorac. Suggestions?
I have a seborrhea dermatitis outbreak around my eyebrows. There appears to be many ingrown hairs in the area. When they are removed, the condition seems to start healing until another brow hair tries to surface. My dermatologist prescribed epiduo andtazorac which has not improved the condition. When this condition started in January, I was yonder extreme stress as my son is very ill. Also, the condition began with being extremely itchy which has since subsided. The scarring from the condition is significant. Any thoughts?
Hi seborrhic dermatitis is the papulosquamous condition in the hairy areas.it is presented as erythematous scaly itchy rash over scalp and face.it can be treated as atarax 25 mg at night.a antibiotic twice daily and flucanozole 150 mg weekly once for 3-4 weeks and application of momate and moisteriser in the morning and Keto b ointment in the night can cure it.if no response use itraconazole 200mg for 14 days.and ketaconazole shampoo weekly twice over scalp to decrease dandruff.if still no response use isotretinion
