Have Semi-large Bump On Breast. What Is The Stinky Pus?
I have a semi-large bump on my right side near where my bra sits. When I first noticed the bump it was painful and eventually decreased in size. It resumed to normal size but the pain was gone. Today as I was preparing for bed I noticed that there was a stringy white pus like residue that came from it. It had a foul odor and I tried to pop it and more came out. What is this? From the brief information you have provided,
You seem to have developed a breast abscess.
Don't try to pop it yourself, as there are chances of secondary infection.
You may visit a surgeon for extrusion of pus by incision and drainage( if required) and get a culture a culture and sensitivity of pus for appropriate oral antibiotic to be started.
