Have Severe Pain In Chest And Abdomen. Have A Medical History. What Can It Be?

My mom is experiencing pins n needles sensation in her chest n abdomen. She has diabetes but is controlled with insulin. Bk in dec.Her ggallbladder wsd removed n ever since then her heath has declined. She is waiting to get surg due to cervical spinal stenosis, she having trouble walking but the pain that is intense is her chest. She also wss told she hss diverticulitis.

Pain in chest and abdomen should raise the possibility of coronary artery disease and angina especially when occur in diabetic person. However diverticulitis can give similar pain but should be kept second possibility.

Kindly get first ECG/EKG after consulting doctor if he thinks based on ECG and character of pain he will decide to get cardiac enzymes level and further workup for cronary artery disease. Surgery should be deferred till this issue is fixed. Of sugar control is mandatory in any condition.
