Have Slight Curve In Lower Back. Will It Affect My Growth? Will It Get Worse?

I have a question about my spine , I am a healthy 13 year old female who stands at about 5 4, is 106 lbs and is skinny, (but not too skinny to the point where it s unhealthy) I went to my doctors office a few weeks ago and when he checked my back he told me I had a slight curve in my lower back, I looked in the mirror and I noticed he was talking about the arch in my back, now I always had this arch from around the time I was 8 or so, he told me that the arch wasnt bad and it was nothing to worry about but I m really worried about it. Will it affect my growth? Will it get worse? I know my doctor says I have nothing to worry about but I want to be sure. I havent seen any differences with my arch because it hasnt moved or arched any more than it has, it has stayed the same for years. Will it affect me when I m older and finished growing? What about when I reach the age where I start to have children, will it affect my spine and cause it to form to the point where I d be considered to have bad posture ? Are there any exercises I can do to straighten the arch a little? All tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The slight curve in the lower back that is abnormal can be aggravated with passing years due to a poor body posture,. This can cause a chronic low back pain too.
