Have Small Tanish Brown Patches Under Skin, Sometimes Itchy. What Is It And How To Cure Them?

I have small patches of tanish brown very small dots the size of pin heads under my skin. They itch sometimes more than others, give or take. And I have 3 spots on my right hand and one on my left but there is a patch on one of my fingers on the left hand as well. I had this for about a month. I noticed it while I was outside back in July. I live in Alabama if that helps any. Also it started in one little patch on my right hand and now it s spread like I said up above. But they are all pretty small. None of the patches of dots are over the size of a dime. Also I noticed that day, my boyfriend and I were taking some pictures to put on our facebooks well we had to go in early because I was eating a lot of misquote bites I had about 8 on each leg and 2 on each arm. So I m kind of worried if they gave me some kind of weird desease. Also if it helps I m 23, I don t take meds on a daily basis, I don t have any medical problems, my periods are fine and I m not preganate.... Hate when doctors always thinks its those last two for everything wrong with a female... Anyways please help!

Hi,
It seem that you have developed post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation or PIH. Do not apply any home remedies which can aggravate the situation. You can apply creams such as Azelaic acid, glycolic acid can be used to reduce the pigmentation under dermatological supervision.
You can also go for latest treatment including chemical peeling under dermatological supervision. Continue Using a good quality medicated sunscreen 3 times a day. Protect yourself from direct sunlight. Do not apply any hair oil on scalp which are containing fragrance in it as it can also cause pigmentation on exposure to sun light.
