Have Smelly Skin Tag In Nose And Headache. Should I Worry?
Hi I have a skin tag in my nose thats been there for about 3 weeks.. I m a little worried now as it has started to smell, I m also getting headaches .. The tag is just inside the tip of my nose, I m 35 weigh 12 stone but seem to have lost a little weight recently. Wondered if I should be worried about it and hoped one of you could help.
Hello..
Thanks for our query
Skin tags are benign extra growths of skin, that usually do not cause any symptoms.
Sometimes they are complicated by superimposed bacterial infection in which case they may have pus and have foul smell.
It is uncommon for a skin tag to be present in the tip of nose and produce the symptoms as you mention.
I would suggest you visit a dermatologist for an accurate assessment of this and start medications accordingly. You amy apply topical antibiotic creams and take oral anti inflammatory medications meanwhile will you can meet your doctor.
Hope this is helpful,
take care!
