Have Something Popping In Elbows While Doing Push Ups, Arm Pain, Tingles, Numbness. Underlying Cause?
Hi , I've tried to look this up a few times, but no one seems to have a question quite matching up to my issue.
I have a desk job and try to work out after work, but over the last year I've noticed that when I do push ups, somethign pops in my elbow. When this happens my arm hurts and then the entire arm has a rush of tingles and goes numb. This concerns me bacause it had never happened until last December or so. I also feel that it is hampering my fitness goals. Any suggestions?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. It might be some fibrosis tissue. It might compresses over nerve fibres causing tingling and numbness.I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the X-ray/MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
