Have Sore In Abdomen Which Is Bleeding And Causing Irritation. What Should I Do?

I have a sore in the skin fold of my abdomen. Yes I am overweight. I have gotten some slight irration in the past but nothing like this. The sore has actually bled this time. In the past the mild irration I just made sure to keep dry and use powder with cornstarch. This time I am struggling...I have tried aloe, bactracin, hydorcortizone and now monistat. It is better but not gone... what should I do?

Hi. Thanks for writing in to HCM

In your case its difficult to advice correctly without properly examining the area affected. I would advice that you consult a dermatologist for an exact visual diagnosis or you can ask me a direct query via this forum along with pic of the affected area.

It could be Intertrigo (inflammation of the body folds) OR may be bacterial infection.

Take care
regards
