Have Sore Throat, Pain Wile Swallowing. Bumps In The Throat. Inflammation?
hello i have had a sore throat for 2 weeks and when i swallow it hurts i have a cough when i breath in deep and when i lay down at night it gets worse and hard to breath at night i checked my throat and there are small bumps along the lining of my throat. i also have slolen gland on both sides and when i look at the throat i can see implamation of he throat. i have tried tea and meds for soar throat. what should i do and what is wrong with me?
hi there, you seem to be suffering from throat infection most probalby bacterial. You will need to get a throat swab taken for culture and sentivity and started on a broad spectrum antibiotic till the results come. You could take an anti-inflammatory like brufen to reduce the pain and inflammation. Hot saline gargle will also help to relieve the pain. You will need a course of antibiotics so it is best to visit the doctors as soon as possible for early cure. Take care.
