Have Stage 3 Congestive Heart Failure. Not Getting Cured By Medicine. What Is The Possible Life Expectancy?
I have stage 3 congestive heart failure , with an ejection fraction of less than 30 percent. I m only 40 how much longer have most people lived with my condition? the meds are not working for me. I have been on heart meds for 1 1/2 years and my heart got worse by 10 percent. went from an ejection fraction of 33 percent to 30 percent in that year and a half.
Hi
first
Think positive , people will survive enough with good quality of life with ejection fraction of 25 to 30 % also , so be positive ,
apart from medicine do some life style modification like restrict your salt intake to fluid intake avoid straneous physical activity
take your medicine regularly
consult cardilogist who has more expertise in managing heart failure patient
in case of resistance heart failure, future option of Left ventricular assisted device and last heart transplantion is also now a days can be done with very good long term result
so think positive
get well soon
take care
