General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM.
There is no usually some permanent damage from sucg manipulations. There can be vessel or nerve contusion but there are no many such reported cases. If this last you should do doppler ultrasounds and EMG to check is there serious vascular or nerve damage, but I doubt. Till that just keep your hand elevated and apply cold compresses if painful. If you notice loss of the sensation, loss of pulsation or hand coldness you should go to ER. WIsh you good health.
