Have Stiffness, Soreness And Throbbing Pulse On Neck Which Radiates To Arm And Leg. How To Diagnose My Symptoms?
About 2 weeks ago I had neck stiffness which I thought was torticollis. My neck was stuck onto the right side and I could barely walk. I also had a throbbing pulse on the back of my neck which i still have and a little soreness too. It also radiated to my right arm and leg. It took quite a few days for it to disappear even though I was taking pain medication, warm compresses and bengay. What can this be?
As per your symptoms neck pain can be due to diffuse disc bulge compressing your cervical spine, or a simple muscle sprain Most probable reason for your symptoms could be postural problem as you may be sitting for long time and working on computer for long time.
Some medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant and analgesic will reduce pain, you can take them consulting your treating doctor.
Also check your vit B12 and vit D3 in your blood. Hope this helps. Wish you speedy recovery.
Take care
